Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan di era digital menuntut implementasi kurikulum yang adaptif, kontekstual, dan responsif terhadap perkembangan kompetensi abad ke-21, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa global. Perubahan paradigma pembelajaran dari teacher-centered menuju student-centered, serta integrasi teknologi dan pendekatan komunikatif, menuntut sekolah dan pendidik untuk mampu menerjemahkan kurikulum secara efektif ke dalam praktik pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kurikulum dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di era transformasi pendidikan, mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan strategi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengadaptasi kurikulum terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan guru Bahasa Inggris dan siswa pada satuan pendidikan menengah. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen kurikulum serta perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum Bahasa Inggris telah mengarah pada penguatan kompetensi komunikatif siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis aktivitas, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dan integrasi keterampilan berbahasa secara terpadu. Namun demikian, penelitian juga menemukan sejumlah kendala, antara lain variasi kompetensi guru dalam penguasaan teknologi, keterbatasan sarana pendukung, serta ketidakseimbangan antara tuntutan administratif dan kebutuhan pedagogis. Pembahasan menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum sangat dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan guru, dukungan institusional, dan fleksibilitas kurikulum dalam merespons dinamika pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum yang efektif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris memerlukan sinergi antara kebijakan kurikulum, inovasi pedagogis, dan pemanfaatan teknologi secara berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan kualitas dan relevansi pembelajaran di era transformasi pendidikan.
