Penerapan Metode Quiz untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik pada Mata Pelajaran Fiqih di MTs Tanwirul Qulub

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran fiqih yang disebabkan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional dan minimnya keterlibatan aktif siswa. Guru sering kali berperan dominan dalam pembelajaran, sementara siswa menjadi pasif dalam memahami materi keagamaan yang kompleks. Dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi fiqih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode quiz terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran fiqih di MTs Tanwirul Qulub. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas metode quiz sebagai bagian dari strategi pembelajaran aktif yang menyenangkan dan membangun pemahaman secara bertahap. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII, dengan sampel dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal pre-test dan post-test. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui uji-t dan perhitungan gain score untuk melihat peningkatan yang signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode quiz mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Perbedaan rata-rata nilai post-test dan gain score antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol mengindikasikan efektivitas metode ini dalam pembelajaran fiqih. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode quiz efektif diterapkan untuk memperkuat proses pembelajaran fiqih. Metode ini memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih aktif, reflektif, dan menyenangkan. Temuan ini memperluas pendekatan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam ke arah yang lebih inovatif dan partisipatif.
